Join Tanis for fun activities and to learn about volunteer opportunities at the library. 

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) provides an opportunity for local youth to share their ideas about the library's teen programs, services and collection. Entering Grade 9 in September? Join TAG this summer and start earning your high school community service volunteer hours. 

Join us for a fun and engaging 2-hour family Nature Journaling workshop presented and led by nature educator, Billie Jo Reid from Pine & Ponder Outdoors. This workshop is designed for all experience levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Registration is required to take part. 

Attendees will meet at the Orangeville Public Library on Mill Street and then walk together to Mill Creek Park. 

Through curiosity, wonder, and observation, participants will explore nature and record their discoveries using simple journaling techniques. This is a relaxed and enjoyable experience for the whole family!

Please bring water, any snacks you want, something to sit on (blanket, folding chair), and anything else you need to feel comfortable outdoors (dress accordingly). 

This workshop is part of a summer series offered three times, you are more than welcome to join us for one or all sessions (registration is for each individual date).

Sunday, August 9 - 1 to 3 p.m. 

Drop in Mondays at Alder and Saturdays at Mill during open hours for a self-directed craft activity using a variety of supplies.

Adult supervision required for children under 9.

Join us in the Makerspace for a taste test of different creative projects. Learn more about 3D Printing, smart cutting, and more! This workshop is geared for youth aged 9 to13 years.

Please register in advance as space is limited.

Do you love "KPop Demon Hunters"? Bring the whole family to enjoy a night of songs, snacks, and entertainment. Sing loud, steal the spotlight, and seal the Honmoon! 

Please register in advance as the program is held after the Mill St. Library closes for the evening.   

The After Hours Write Club is a writing workshop facilitated by local author Anthony Carnovale.  Meet at the Mill Street Library at 7 p.m.

Please register in advance to attend this program and don't forget to pack your writing supplies and, if you're like Anthony, a good cup of coffee. If the form is unavailable to register, please email libraryprograms@orangeville.ca to have your name added to the meeting list. 

Ignite your baby’s love for reading through fun and interactive activities. baby storytime is on Wednesdays, July 8 to August 19, 1 to 1:30 p.m. in Storyland at the Mill Library.  

This drop in program is for 18 months and under with a caregiver. No registration is required.
