Crafty Creations is on Saturdays at Mill and Mondays at Alder. We provide an assortment of craft materials; you provide the creativity!

For children of all ages with a parent/caregiver. Drop-in program with a new craft every week - available while supplies last.

Join us and EarlyON Dufferin for yoga fun with special storytime guest Taylor Coupland. Taylor is a dedicated yoga teacher with years of experience, rooted deeply in the love of the practice. Teaching is her passion, purpose, and absolute favourite thing to do!

Recommended for age 6 and under. This is a drop in program.

Get ready for a STEM workshop of creativity, teamwork, and eco-friendly fun! Dive into the Recycled Sculpture Challenge, where imagination meets sustainability. Using the engineering design process and everyday recycled materials, Participants will work together to dream up, design, and build your own one-of-a-kind sculpture!  

For ages 7-12 years.  Please register in advance.

Some craft materials will be provided, but to make the activity even more fun, we ask that participants bring a few recyclable items from home to use in their projects.  
Suggested materials include: 

Cardboard boxes 
Plastic bottles or caps 
Old magazines or newspapers 
Egg cartons 
Milk or juice cartons 
Clean cans 
Paper towel rolls 
Fabric scraps 

Please ensure the items are safe to handle and easy to work with. We can’t wait to see the creative structures the campers come up with! 

Register for this 8 week learn-to-play workshop for beginners and get to know how to run your own adventures!

When: Tuesdays, July 8 to August 19, 3 to 6 p.m.

Join us this week for a mythical edition of Kids Club! Make new friends as you create your own dragon eggs and capture mythical creatures! 

Ages 5 to 8 

Kids Club is every Wednesday until August 20, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the Mill Library. This is a drop in program.

Ignite your baby’s love for reading through fun and interactive activities. This is a drop-in program for newborns to 18 months.

There will be time to socialize with other new parents after the program.

Every Child Ready to Read is an early childhood literacy program for children from birth to age five. Library staff will demonstrate ways to help children get ready to read, incorporating five activities: talking, singing, reading, writing and playing. 

Spend time together enjoying stories, songs and a craft. Fun for the whole family! 

July 31 - River storytime and make an origami boat or a pool noodle boat 

All ages are welcome. This is a drop in program.

Join us this week for a mythical edition of Tween Club! Make your own dragon eggs, create origami mythical creatures, and compete in games that teach you about the world's myths and legends! 

Ages 9 to 12 

Tween Club runs every Thursday until August 21, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the Mill Library. This is a drop in program.
