Join us for our virtual local author showcase featuring Mark Grice, local artist and author of Paint the Horse Blue.

Following a thirty-year career training show horses for a living, Mark has spent the past 12 years as a full time artist with a studio and gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre. Grice can be seen daily on his Rogers TV show, Mark Grice The Artist where he shares with viewers his process of painting quick landscape and wildlife paintings. Mr. Grice is also a professional horse show announcer and a licensed wedding officiant.

Mark has built upon his lifetime experience to write an award-winning novel called Paint The Horse Blue. The book follows a woman on a journey to solve some personal and financial problems which have occurred due to some bad decisions and tragedies. The story is anchored on a horse farm in Ontario in the present day but spans 100 years back in time and visits ten states across the U.S. Paint The Horse Blue is available in three formats on Amazon and most other online book sellers.
