The final activity in a series of Space Force themed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) programs for kids in grades 7 and 8.
Join the University of Waterloo Engineering Science Quest (UW ESQ) and experiment with coding. In satellite photos, the only way to see elevation is to look at the colours of the image. Darker colours signify low elevation and lighter colours signify high elevation. In this session, participants will use a pseudorandom number generator in Javascript to make cool images that look like elevated terrain.

This program is presented in partnership with ESQ from the University of Waterloo and is undertaken with the financial support of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
