What do you mean artificial intelligence isn't all that smart? Join facilitators from the University of Waterloo's Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) to learn about machine learning as you train a teachable machine to identify images of cats and dogs. You will soon discover that AI is only as good as the data they discover - watch out for hidden biases!

This session is appropriate for those in Grades 4 to 6. 

Registration required to receive the event link and participate virtually. 

Required Tech: computer or laptop with an internet connection. Participants DO NOT need to pick up a kit of supplies to participate in this workshop.
