Spilled Ink: A Young Poets Workshop
Come--let your imagination run.
No right and no wrong.
In this space where verses bloom,
and every heart discerned is warm,
with your words a new world is born.
Embark on a journey into the colorful world of words, rhythm, and imagination as we explore different kinds of poetry through engaging stations and activities.
Participants will have the opportunity to include their finished work in a special zine and/or on Tales on the Trail!
After School Club is for children ages 7 - 12 and no registration is required. Please note, guardians of children 9 and under must remain in the library for the duration of the program. Thank you for your cooperation.
10:30 AM | Alder Street Library, 275 Alder Street
Take part in this interactive program that has something for everyone. Sing songs, listen to stories and rhymes, and play games that encourage literacy and learning.
Talking, singing, reading and playing are the key skills and fun ways to help your child get ready to read. Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to learn to read once they begin school, and helps to foster a lifelong love of reading and learning. No registration is required.
Recommended for age 5 and under. This is a drop-in program.
