Books and Loose Parts - This event has already occurred

Event Details:

Explore the amazing world of loose parts inspired by children’s stories with Heather Jackson of The Sunflower School. The featured book is Beneath by Cori Doerrfeld. What lies beneath the sidewalk, our feet, in a hole and underground? Explore under tables with loose parts.

For ages 2.5 to 6 years with a parent/caregiver.

Loose parts are materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways. Loose parts’ theory is about remembering that the best play comes from things that allow children to play in many different ways.

Additional Dates:

Tuesday, May 28 - 1 to 2:30 p.m. - One Patch of Blue by Marthe Jocelyn

Tuesday, June 25 - 1 to 2:30 p.m. - I Am Me: A Book of Authenticity by Susan Verde
