The Orangeville Public Library and DCAFS 2SLGBTQ+ Youth Group GLOW celebrates the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17 with a special Author Spotlight.
We are excited to feature author Matteo L. Cerilli who will speak to his debut trans YA horror book - Lockjaw - for fans of Rory Power and Danielle Vega. With shifting timeframes and multiple perspectives, Lockjaw is a smalltown ghost story, where monsters living and dead haunt the streets, the homes and the minds of the inhabitants.
Matteo L. Cerilli is a transmasc author and activist who helped found Students for Queer Liberation (Toronto) and works with the No Pride in Policing Coalition. He writes widely across genres and age categories. Lockjaw is his debut book, which will be released to the public in June. Advance copies will be available for purchase after the presentation.
Please register in advance to attend.
