Back to School… Then and Now! A Family Event Exploring Black History in Canada

Event Details:

Join author and activist Rosemary Sadlier OONt (Order of Ontario) as we get ready for school in a whole new way - with a journey through time! Rosemary will share stories from The Kids Book of Black History in Canada. Through an engaging and interactive discussion, you’ll learn about the incredible achievements of Black Canadians, the communities that supported them, and the powerful role education played in their lives.

Perfect for families and curious minds of all ages, this event is a fun and inspiring way to explore Canadian history, celebrate diversity, and spark meaningful conversations as you prepare for the new school year.

Please register to let us know you plan to attend.
