Drop in to create a butterfly for Butterfly Bereavement Project at the library. Bethell Hospice will be here to guide a workshop, while facilitating meaningful dialogue about the grief experience and memorializing the person who has died. All are welcome, children are encouraged to participate as well.
The Butterfly Bereavement Project is an annual initiative that aims to educate the community on grief and bereavement services, directly support bereaved individuals, and increase awareness about National Grief & Bereavement Day (November 18) and National Children's Grief Awareness Day (November 20).
Bethell Hospice, in partnership with the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Hills of Headwaters Collaborative, Town of Caledon, Town of Orangeville, and Orangeville Public Library will be hosting an art exhibit, where commemorative butterflies will be displayed in honour of loves ones. Butterflies represent hope and symbolize transformation, and each butterfly in the exhibit represents a loved one. Orangeville's art installation will be at the Mill library.
